1. The best priced tickets are online in advance at PanamaCityBeachFest.com – and use promo code PCBDAILY to save $2 off each ticket

5. Not interested in the big concerts each night? Get a daytime only ticket and save nearly 50%

8. All Wine Tastings (4p-6p each day) are included with all General Admission and VIP tickets

Some other cool stuff to know about the festival:

2009 is the 30th anniversary of this ever evolving premiere event on Panama City Beach

The festival benefits many charities through direct donations for volunteer work done at the festival to the newly announced “Promo Codes for Cash”, where non-profit groups can get a special PROMO CODE and whenever anyone uses that code when they purchase their advance discount tickets online the festival will donate $2 to the non profit group. If you represent a non profit group and you need a promo code to help you raise funds, call 850-230-6715

The 2009 official t-shirts have been designed by internationally acclaimed artist GUY HARVEY – and every shirt purchase benefits the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation

The current promoters of the festival (since 2008) are 3 local men who live here, own and operate businesses here, and are invested in the community and want to see this festival be the pride of PCB again

Ah! Somebody got smart!! The daytime only ticket is a great idea, especially for families with little kids. It’s altogether a much better deal than last year. We weren’t planning on going this year, but I think you’ve just sold me!

Thanks for the tips. This encourages me to go this year. Perhaps it won’t cost an arm and a leg!

OH. MY. GOD. What a JOKE!!!! I too was encouraged to by this article to check out tickets online for this event. I was suprised that there is a “fee” of $4 added to the cost of the ticket purchased online. Plus tax.

Not only that, but did you know you also have to pay for daily parking? $5. Plus, ohmygod youll never guess, the $4 fee again and tax! I seriously started lauging outloud. What a “deal!!!” And all this so I can buy overpriced food from vendors and watch children bounce in bounce houses. NO THANKS! Sorry Andy, its still an arm and a leg and totally not worth it in my opinion.

forgot to mention. promo codes sent to me in my indbox did not work either. Good luck!

Buying online is just an option and the online ticket company charges that fee for the service. The same as any online service. Sales tax… not an option no matter what you are buying. Parking… again… an option to allow you to park at the festival grounds… there are free parking options as well. Sounds like Leanna is just looking for a reason not to go. Promo codes… if yours didn’t work perhaps a call or email to the festival coordinators would help you resolve the problem and I’m sure they would like to know if there is an error.

Firstly, Susan – thank you for your reasonable understanding of how online tickets work.

To Leanna – I think I have to agree with Susan – you seem to be looking for the negative, rather than the positive and while unfortunate for you I feel compelled to correct your misleading info about the ticket fees, which can be easily contradicted when purchasing tickets online.

1. The fees range from $1-to $1.75 for the one day tickets and up to $4.00 maximum on the 3-day and VIP tickets. This is standard practice and quite honestly very reasonable “convenience fee”, especially when you consider that you can order the tickets from the comfort of your own home or office and print them immediately. To compare, a very well known online ticket sales website (they consider themselves the “master” of tickets) charges a minimum $3.25 per ticket and upwards of $6.00 or more for higher priced tickets similar to our VIP tickets.

2. The actual fee for parking passes is $1 for a 1 day parking pass and $1.75 for a 3 day parking pas – not $4 as you stated.

3. Not sure what promo code you tried, but if it was PCBDAILY I assure you it works as many people have already used it and benefitted from it since June 4, 2009 when it was activated.

4. You are welcome to call our offices at 850-230-6715 and we will be happy to help you out with your ticket order.

5. I hope Jason will consider that Leanna is disseminating incorrect information and in addition to it being flat wrong it is also potentially harmful to the festival and consider removing her comment altogether.

Thank you – PCB Seafood Festival Management
