Looking for Panama City Beach events?  Bookmark our Events section!

Isn’t it gorgeous out there? Out there – on Panama City Beach! Peaceful; and hear those birds calling over the waves. What a great time to be on the beach, getting ready for a brand new year. A great time to be a beachcomber AND see some Broadway style shows as well. We’re glad you’re starting your new year with us!

“The Color Purple”

You’ve had a chance to rest up from New Year’s Eve – now head out for a show.  Head over on Hwy. 98 to historic downtown Panama City to the Marina Civic Center to see “The Color Purple.” The story that led to Oscars for the 1985 film is set to a score featuring jazz, gospel, blues and more. The show is Wednesday at 7:30 pm, but tickets are available now at marinaciviccenter.com or call 850 763-4694 for more information.

“Legally Blonde the Musical”

Panama City Music Association presents Legally Blonde the Musical, at the Marina Civic Center. It’s just like being in New York, without the parking hassels, ice and crowds. See another great production Thursday night when Elle and Brusier hit Panama City. Show starts at 7:30 pm, and you’ll get tickets through the links at the Marina Civic Center site at marinaciviccenter.com. Call the PCMA at 850 236-1260 for more information.

Winter Residents Appreciation Day!

Winter residents are treated to coffee and donuts as well at the SunCard. Find out about exciting educational events that are just plain fun. The party kicks off at 9:00 am and rolls on up til 11:00 am.  Head out to the Panama City Beach Convention & Visitors Bureau at 17001 Panama City Beach Parkway for your free coffee and donuts. In the U.S call (800) 722-3224 for more information, and in Canada, call (800) 553-1330.

“The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (abridged)”

Fun and funny – that’s the show at Kaleidoscope Theatre just down the road at Lynn Haven.  See the world’s shortest presentation of Hamlet, clocking in at 43 seconds, and lots of laughs. Check out the premiere Friday night at 7:30 pm, at the biggest little theatre around.  Shows Saturday night, 7:30 pm and Sunday matinee at 2:00pm. 207 E. 24th St, Lynn Haven. ktplays@knology.net or 850 265-3226.
