I hope many of our sellers read this article. I know that I am not the lonely Realtor in saying that this is one of the biggest obstacles to selling our higher priced properties. When we do find a buyer then many times as you stated they do not qualify and then getting appraisals... wow we hold our breath every time. My point is really thanks for the information, I think now more than ever, Realtors need to be ever vigilant in staying current with Mortgage issues that impact our business. Fortunately I have been blessed to have some great customers who have a great understanding of what is going on and have been patient in dealing with it. Good luck to you and of course we will all keep keeping on and really appreciate the business that we do have. Hopefully when we live through the next boom some of us will save a little of the green stuff. Hunter,
