And, as an added bonus, we’ve included with this release an iPad app as well, so you can see all your coveted Panama City Beach news and information in FULL resolution – and in landscape!

Here is the iTunes store description:

Panama City Beach, Florida has become known as “The World’s Most Beautiful Beaches”, and that isn’t far from the truth. No matter where you are (or what the temperature is outside) you can experience the best of the Gulf of Mexico Beaches by installing our free app. brings you hyper-targeted local news and information from Panama City Beach. From commentary on where to dine, where to enjoy live music, where to join in on cultural events and more. gives you a view of this Gulf Coast destination like no other source.

The app is very simple to use – you can:

  • Read articles
  • View pictures from various events
  • Watch videos from the beach (this became VERY popular as we tracked the BP situation last summer)
  • Post your comments (there is a lively community on PCBDaily!)
  • Share our news and information with your friends on Facebook, Twiiter, etc.
  • Know that as winter approaches that it is warm somewhere!
  • Participate in vacation giveaways, surveys, and win stuff!

Here are some screenshots of the app.

This was apparently built w/out the iPhone 4’s Retina Display in mind. Also, we realize PCBDaily is operated by Cyber Sytes, but must you stamp ads for CS all over the app ?
