When the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping is over and you finally sit down to make your party plans for New Year’s Eve, make sure safety is part of you checklist. Panama City Beach has a few different options for ways to play on New Year’s Eve, but most of these options involve a champagne toast then a drive across town to get home. We suggest you leave the keys behind when you head out for a good time and stay where you play. The Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort is hosting the best New Year’s Eve Party on the Beach!
Last Year’s Party was a huge success; everyone who came last year had a great time. “We had a wonderful time, the food was amazing, the party was so much fun and the music was great – even my husband danced! Then we just walked right up to the room and didn’t have to worry about driving.” Said Dawn Silk, guest of the Holiday Inn SunSpree New Years Eve Extravaganza 2007. This year the SunSpree has even more in store for New Year’s Eve!
The SunSpree is offering New Years packages to celebrate the start of 2009! Enjoy a romantic dinner at The View restaurant located on the ground floor of the resort with a view of our tropical lagoon pool deck, then dance in the New Year at a New Years Eve party complete with party favors, live entertainment from D.J. Big Jim Lawson in the GrandView Ballroom, a live 5 piece band, Ruff Waters, in the SunSet Lounge, and a champagne toast at midnight! Watch the New Year roll in around the world on our four 50” high definition plasma screens. Then take the elevator home eliminating the danger of the drive home after you’ve partied in paradise. Enjoy the late check-out and sleep in; when you wake up New Year’s Day and partake in a Champagne Breakfast!
One of the most unique things the Holiday Inn SunSpree offers is a special Kids New Years Eve Party! The first floor of the SeaWatch is home to the Under the Sea Activities Center. Kids 5-12 can have a great time with our talented Activities Team as they have their own party just downstairs from where moms and dads are enjoying their party. Kids will play games, eat pizza, watch movies, and more while mom and dad are able to enjoy a party of their own without worrying about entertaining the kids – and with the kids right downstairs, if mom or dad wants to check on them they are only one floor away!
Kids that are too old for the Kid’s Party are welcome to celebrate in the SunSpree Game Room – filled with Pool Tables, Ping Pong Tables, Arcade Games, Music, Snacks, Sweet Tea, and more! This area is unsupervised; however, the Holiday Inn SunSpree will have a team member monitoring the room from 9:00pm – 1:00am.
