Panama City Beach featured in AJC

by April 26, 2008 • 1 comment

“Panama City Beach rocks with new attractions, hotels, eateries”, the title reads. Atlanta, arguably PCB’s biggest fan, featured an article talking about all the new stuff that has come to our beach in the last year. In addition to all the new shops and restaurants that are now available at Pier Park, the FSU Flying High Circus will be coming to Frank Brown Park this summer. They’ve got a contract to do this for the next 10 years. Trapeze artists, clowns, jugglers and acrobatic daredevils will be performing 6 nights a week with many of the performers also being instructors at a summer camp hosted for children ages 7-12.

Well that $20,000/month on Y Partnership is paying off, a little. It a nice article, no links to the TDC website, no mention of the new fishing tournaments, new dive site, how affordable we are or that US airways is now landing here… But hey, right below this nice article is this, “Top 10 beach resorts for budget-minded families” GREAT!!! PCB should be in this right, that is whom we are catering to… right… WRONG! WHAT!!???? Nope, only 5 are US locations including Hawaii. Wow thanks for support the US and our economy AJC, real winner there! And outside the $20k/month, we are spending 10’s of thousands on advertising on AJC.com! So the TDC invest in Y Partnership, who can’t get AJC.com to write an article with links, more supportive information, then AJC provides this other article.

To top this off, AJC didn’t right the original “Top 10” article, they took it from another source, showed the top ten, again doesn’t include PCB and linked to the originator. Ah, Y call AJC and request that one to be pull or are you to busy counting all the money your making off of us!?

Here is the link to the “Top 10 beach resorts for budget-minded families” http://www.ajc.com/travel/content/travel/otherdestinations/int_stories/2008/04/24/TRfamilytrip_0427.html

It good we have the article but not worth the money being spent with them!

Thanks Y,
Charles

PS. For the record, Y Partnership NEVER contacted me and apologized for Berry actions.
