_MG_4044wtmk

Last weekend for the Panama City Beach Seafood Wine and Music Festival we had a booth set up and were giving away almost $2,000 in free stuff to those of you that came by and signed up.  Unfortunately, most of the weekend, we were not able to be at the booth because we were working the event.  So, in all fairness for all of you that stopped by and missed us, we decided to open up this giveaway here.

The magnitude of this giveaway is actually kind of insane as we’ve never done anything like this before.  If this looks like a ton of stuff to give away, that’s because IT IS!

So, what are we giving away, you ask?  Here’s the lineup:

  • Golf for 4 valued at $600

_MG_4043wtmk

  • 2 Night Stay at Legacy by the Sea and $50 Barefoot Bucks valued at $322
    • 2 night stay in one of Legacy’s double suites good from August to December or January to February (Expires 2011)
    • $50 “Barefoot Bucks” gift card to be used at the Barefoot Beach Club in between Legacy by the Sea and Beachbreak by the Sea.
    • This offer is brought to you by By The Sea Resorts

_MG_4041wtmk

  • 2 Night Stay at Beachcomber by the Sea and $50 Barefoot Bucks valued at $322
    • 2 night stay in one of Beachbreak’s double suites good from August to December or January to February (Expires 2011)
    • $50 “Barefoot Bucks” gift card to be used at the Barefoot Beach Club in between Legacy by the Sea and Beachbreak by the Sea.

  • Sweet Fanimation Designer fan valued at $380
    • Fanimation is a leading designer fan manufacturer that produces high-end wind making contraptions.
    • This fan is brought to you by Lighting Etc.

_MG_4046wtmk

  • 2 $50 Gift Cards to Pier Park
    • These are brought to you by pcbdaily.com
    • There will be two winners for these

_MG_4047wtmk

  • 4 $25 gift cards to Hofbrau Beer Garden
    • These are brought to you by pcbdaily.com
    • There will be four winners for these

So, by now you’re probably asking what in the world you have to do to have a chance to win some of this awesome stuff.  Well, at the Festival, the goal was to get people to come on camera and give a “testimonial” on why they love pcbdaily, but after a few shy’d away from that, I shy’d away from trying to ask any one else.  I don’t like being pushy anyway.  So, all you have to do is post a comment below with a valid email address and first name and tell us what you love most about or why you like pcbdaily.

We are going to give you all until Friday October 23 at 5 pm to submit your comments and we’ll do the drawing on Saturday and air the results on Monday. 10 people are going to win something, so if only 100 people enter you stand a 1 in 10 chance to win, those are pretty sweet odds!

Rules

  • Each entrant can enter once and only once (we can verify this by ip AND cookies) and must use a valid first name and email address.
  • Contest begins when this post is published and ends on Friday October 23 at 5 pm CST.
  • We must have at least 100 entrants to give away all the prizes, if we have less than 100 entrants, then we will only give away one of the vacation packages from By The Sea Resorts, 1 gift card to Pier Park and 2 Gift Cards from Hofbrau Beer Garden.
  • All winners will be chosen at random.  There will be 10 winners total.
  • By entering you are opting in to receive future newsletters and emails from pcbdaily and The Beach Show and you are opening yourself up to the greatest resource for news and information Panama City Beach has to offer.
  • If you are selected and you do not respond to our email notifying you of winning within three business days (being defined from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) then we reserve the right to either keep the prize for another give away in the future or award the prize to another entrant.
  • This giveaway is open to anyone in the continental United States however, we will not mail the designer Fanimation fan, but the rest is small enough for us to mail if you wish.
  • Read full rules here.

I enjoy visiting PCB daily to see what’s new in the community and to follow the airport development. I really appreciate that the site get’s first hand information and doesn’t just regurgitate news stories.

2 Dawn Knoepfler October 16, 2009 at 12:34 am

I like to get the latest up to date news on the happenings west of Walmart. I am a resident of the city but a Thomas Drive local. Airport news is always great as well as the new and upcoming happenings at Pier Park. One of these days Ill get around to sharing some of my photography with the rest of the beach. Keep up the great work and I think we need to add a little to the entertainment section. A better calendar of events happening ALL over PCB would be a great thing.

3 will October 16, 2009 at 12:52 am

i PCBDaily because it’s got news on local events not only here, but through twitter as well so i know when to come here and get the rest of the story

4 Karsun October 16, 2009 at 12:53 am

I love reading all about the events and happenings around Panama City Beach

5 Capt Rick October 16, 2009 at 5:52 am

I enjoy PCBD for the content and information on local events. Jason and his staff report on things as they are…not how they perceive them or how they may like it perceived. I also enjoy watching the passion that Jason has for what he does! Congratualtions Jason, you really do a great job with these sites!

6 Arleen October 16, 2009 at 6:06 am

What do I love about PCBdaily.com? What’s not to love. I love the updates about what’s happening. Sometimes, it is the only place to get updates on things like the airport, or events that I care about.

Jason is so much fun and makes his articles fun. There are contests all the time, and I love contests. PCBdaily.com is AWESOME!!!!!

7 Bob Baker October 16, 2009 at 6:43 am

PCB Daily keeps me up to date on local happenings! Bob

8 Don Heckman October 16, 2009 at 6:43 am

As a out of towner who comes here frequently for both business and pleasure the PCBDaily is my one source of what is going on and what to see and do while here on the beautiful Emerald Coast. PCBDaily has concise and timely information on the many interesting and varied activities as well as great ads for restaurants and other local haunts.

Keep up the good work!

Don

Here’s why I love PCBdaily.
#1 Jason is dreamy.
#2 Cebo is my chocolate teddy graham.
#3 Opinions, you have opinions
#4 Newspapers suck
#5 Newspaper websites suck because they’re ugly.
#6 Did I mention Cebo?
#7 It’s more than news its events and fun articles.
#8 Love that you’re helping the tech community in PC grow.
#9 Social media users!
#10 I dig the little videos on the site.

10 Janet October 16, 2009 at 7:13 pm

We live in PCB but travel part time and I look forward to receiving the PCBdaily to keep up on what is happening while we are away and actually while we are in PCB. Without this information we wouldn’t know ourselves what is going on. Thank you for offering the updates they are so informative.

Jason does an outstanding job. Keep it up…we love it.

11 Steve October 16, 2009 at 6:51 am

I like to read about the latest local happenings and special events including the new airport under construction. Our primary residence is in Georgia so my whole family can keep up with PCB news and info that helps us schedule our next trip to the beach!

12 Luis Falcon October 16, 2009 at 6:52 am

I enjoy keeping up to date on what is going on in PCB while I am away from the condo.

13 Peggy Hennessy October 16, 2009 at 6:56 am

My Granddaughter and I went to the festival last Sunday we had a great time. I also like reading about the events you have in your news letter.

14 bobby weaver October 16, 2009 at 7:01 am

I read pcbdaily.com for 37 reasons…and here’s number one…it saves me the $31 a quarter I used to pay to subscribe to the local daily…and to me in this economy, $120 a year ain’t chump change!

15 LaJuana October 16, 2009 at 7:02 am

I enjoy pcbdaily because I travel quite a bit and it’s a great way to keep a pulse on the community when I’m away.

16 Andrea October 16, 2009 at 7:10 am

PCBDaily is informative, smartly written and timely. The writers do a great job of keeping the stories concise yet interesting. And the fact that it’s available on the internet, FOR FREE, is why I keep coming back. Good job guys!

17 Lori October 16, 2009 at 7:10 am

PCBDaily is a good way to keep up with the community. It is well written (much better written than the local news). Also, Jason was kind enough to advertise my fundraiser for Relay for Life last year!

18 amy jinright October 16, 2009 at 7:10 am

We come down to Laguna Beach once a month and this newsletter really keeps me updated with current events which makes it easy to plan all the fun things we love to do in Panama City Beach. Keep up the wonderful work you do providing current information for your readers. THANKS!!

19 Dave Alexander October 16, 2009 at 7:23 am

I count on PCB Daily to stay in touch with what’s going on locally. I own a condo in the Pier Park area, but only get down to PCB 4 times per year…this way I can stay in touch with the latest news!!!

20 Jennifer October 16, 2009 at 7:25 am

Hey Jason,

I love pcbdaily. I check in almost everyday to see what’s happening in PCB since I live in the midwest and can’t make it to our condo down there all that often. Thanks for all you do!!

21 Melissa October 16, 2009 at 7:30 am

Love PCB daily because I can keep up with the latest happenings and what’s going on. Visit PCB often, best beach around!

22 Rob October 16, 2009 at 7:30 am

I enjoy pcbdaily because it keeps me updated on the airport and other happenings on the beach!

23 Scott Tolbert October 16, 2009 at 7:31 am

Dear pcbdaily.com

I don’t like to get wet when I have to trudge all the way out to my mail box to pick up my local wet daily… and since we fixed the hole in our roof over my computer, your publication arrives high and dry every time…plus you tell me better stuff than they do…… I really don’t care about soy bean sales in southern Afghanistan

love,
scotty

24 Kelly October 16, 2009 at 7:37 am

We closed on our first condo in 2008. We live in Atlanta, and prior to purchasing the condo were not familiar with the PCB area. I check the PCBDaily website a few times a week to keep updated on the happenings in the community and also to get real estate information. There are a lot of exciting things going on down there! I also love the Beach Show – haven’t missed an episode.

25 Ubah October 16, 2009 at 7:45 am

As someone who works in the hospitality biz, I use PCBDaily as my top source for what’s going on with festivals, the CRA and the TDC. PCB Daily has great access and provides info that I couldn’t get anywhere else.

26 Larry October 16, 2009 at 7:45 am

Being in real estate, pcbdaily gives me up to date information on what is happening in the area on a number of subjects.

27 Bobby Seay October 16, 2009 at 7:47 am

We live in Atlanta and visit Panama City Beach on average once a month. We are always looking at real estate in the area. We depend heavily on pcbdaily to get the scoop on whats happening and where to get the deals.

28 Sheena October 16, 2009 at 7:48 am

PCBDaily has all the information on what’s going on locally and always has info I don’t see anywhere else! Not to mention the real estate info that’s always helpful!

29 Bryanna Hunt October 16, 2009 at 7:48 am

I like that it keeps us daily informed, along with great articles, fun writers, and bringing the community together.

30 Karen Campbell October 16, 2009 at 7:54 am

I love PCBdaily because I stay informed on local events and issues. The pictures are always great and I know I can find out what’s going on anytime!

31 Doug October 16, 2009 at 8:03 am

We are snowbirds and spend 3+ months in PCB. This keeps us up to date of current developments in the area. Great work.

32 Mike P October 16, 2009 at 8:07 am

Hi Jason – I love checking PCBDaily because Panama CIty Beach is my home away from home. I enjoy reading about the new airport (can’t wait to fly into there), CRA, Pier Park and other events in the area. Keep up the good work!

33 Bobbie October 16, 2009 at 8:14 am

It’s wonderful to have fresh, new perspectives about what’s happening in our beautiful area! Thanks for all your hard work and commitment!

34 Deborah Jones October 16, 2009 at 8:14 am

Websites and newsletters are like kids: any idiot can have one, it’s the maintenance that gets you. That said, the PCBDaily site and newsletter updates are always quality information presented well. And that’s the highest compliment one web manager can give another! Congrats!

Oh, and give me some free stuff. 🙂

35 Traveling Terri October 16, 2009 at 8:26 am

Not only do I like the updates on What’s Happening since we live in Naperville, IL and own a winter “retreat” at Island Reserve, but I feel like Cebo and Jason are friends. I was especially happy to meet both of them at the Seafood, Wine and Music Festival! (which I wouldn’t have known about if I didn’t subscribe to PCB Daily)

36 Jim Hamre October 16, 2009 at 8:27 am

Jason – It’s awesome to see what’s going on back home, PCBDaily keeps me virtually connected to the beach scene, also cool viewing your properties. Say hello to Karen for me, great service you guys provide keeping the rest of us linked in to PCBFLA.
I moved away from PC thirty years ago to start my career and have since been waiting for the opportunity to move back home. I visit PC three to four times a year as I am still connected by family and through your online publication. When I view PCBDaily & TheBeachShow I get that feeling where I must get my toes back in the sand. For now I can at least see thru your eyes all the happenings…keep on keeping on – Jim in Braselton GA

37 Dallas October 16, 2009 at 8:29 am

I love the articles and information all about PCB. Sometimes I’m real busy and don’t have time to pay attention, but PCB Daily is in my email and real easy to just click it on and find out what’s going on. I sent a link to my friends in Cincinnati, this is how they keep up also.
Keep up the good work>

38 Laura October 16, 2009 at 8:32 am

I enjoy pcbdaily because it keeps me informed on happenings around town that aren’t always in the local rag that my husband subscribes to. 🙂

39 Marie October 16, 2009 at 8:33 am

PCBDaily is an excellent way to keep up with the happenings in the community. I appreciate the e-mail updates and the site is so well done it is always a pleasure to visit. Thank you and keep up the good work.

40 Mike A. October 16, 2009 at 8:39 am

Best there is for out of town owners.
Keeps you upto date about “every thing”,in Bay co, and the panhandle.
Love the on time reporting, and ease of use.
Thanks.

41 Christie October 16, 2009 at 8:41 am

Why I like PCBdaily, well that is easy! No other place let you know what is going on in PCB. We moved here from NC 3 years ago and until I found PCBdaily, I had no clue as to what was going on around here. I love the help with restaurants and shopping. Events are covered the best I have ever seen, PUTS THE TV STATIONS TO SHAME!
THANKS PCB DAILY KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

42 James O'Neil October 16, 2009 at 8:43 am

I just found PCBDaily about a month ago. I’ve been in the area for 15 years, but always thought I was in the dark. I learned about all the fun stuff after it happened. After finding your site, I feal more on top of things. I actually know about events in time to enjoy them. Thanks and keep up the great work your doing.

43 Kathy October 16, 2009 at 8:44 am

The evolution of PCB Daily over the last few years has been incredible! It’s great to see such valuable information on the progress and changes in Panama City Beach! Nice job!

44 Dave Walter October 16, 2009 at 8:44 am

I enjoy pcbdaily because it allows me to be more informed about all of the important happenings at the Beach. I live in St. Louis and have coming to Moonspinner Condos since 1981 for some days in May and October. Now that I am retired I am able to spend the month of October here. I can make plans before I arrive and also find some great new things to do while I am here. Thanks for keeping me informed about my “second” home.

45 dixie October 16, 2009 at 9:00 am

New to site but looking forward to daily local news as I am working out of town.

46 Jim Hodges October 16, 2009 at 9:06 am

I look forward to reading PCBDaily each morning so I can send out information to all my clients about why they need to buy here and vacation here. There’s always some event either here or just a short drive away. Keep up the great work.

47 Gregg October 16, 2009 at 9:08 am

We are condo owners in PCB and we use pcbdaily to keep up with the local happenings and what is going on. With us living several hundred miles away, it keeps us in touch.

48 joe murray October 16, 2009 at 9:09 am

Spending thre winters in PCB and living in Canada PC Daily keeps us well informed of our winter residence

49 Rhonda October 16, 2009 at 9:12 am

It’s an exciting way to keep up with the happenings at my favorite vacation spot in the world! 🙂

50 Melanie October 16, 2009 at 9:14 am

pcbdaily is one of my favorite websites to visit. I am a local living “across the bridge” but love to spend time on Panama City Beach. pcbdaily gives me the information I need so that I can make the most out of my time. I love that you notify us of upcoming events and enjoy reading the recaps. My favorite part of the website are the pictures. Keep up the good work.

51 Mary October 16, 2009 at 9:17 am

I Love PCBDaily! It is the bomb diggity!

52 Jimmy October 16, 2009 at 9:18 am

I like PCBDaily because Jason is EVERYWHERE and writes about everything.

53 Brett Pohlman October 16, 2009 at 9:19 am

I enjoy reading PCBDaily because I no longer live in Panama City Beach. I moved to Boston after attending Auburn University and rarely get to return to my beautiful hometown. PCBDaily allows me to stay connected with all of the news and happenings when I’m not around. My parents and I talk about many of the topics I read about on this website. The best part is I’m keeping in touch with the place I love and miss so much. Thanks PCBDaily!

54 Mark October 16, 2009 at 9:21 am

I enjoy PCBD for many reasons but probably one of the best is the postings following local TDC meetings. I work in the hospitality industry and do not always have the chance to attend the meetings in person. You guys are straight shooters and it’s nice to cut through all the gray areas and get it told like it is.

55 Aaron October 16, 2009 at 9:23 am

I was born and raised in PC and moved to TX about 3 years ago. PC will always be home to me, so pcbdaily.com lets me stay up to date with the new airport, local development, and all the local events taking place. The best thing is the video and pics to actually see whats going on, not just read about it. I’m more in know of whats going on in PCB and I don’t live there anymore! Thanks Jason and Cebo, keep up the great work!

56 Carol Longwell October 16, 2009 at 9:26 am

I love getting PCB Daily on facebook and twitter. It is the most informative PCB site I have found. I am a winter person so I can keep up with the happenings while not there. Thanks

57 joel Jadofsky October 16, 2009 at 9:28 am

pcbdaily always lets me know whats going on around town so I can make fun plans for my free time

58 Harvey October 16, 2009 at 9:29 am

My wife and I have been spending a good part of the last 5 winters in PCB. This year, as of Nov 1, we’ll be back. Receiving PCB Daily keeps us in touch with our second home. Can’t wait to get back.
Continued success.

59 JT October 16, 2009 at 9:33 am

PCBDaily has really synthesized the local nuances and tourist events of our area. Your reporting is applicable, thorough and well written. PCBDaily is the best source for area information….period!

60 Duane Driggars October 16, 2009 at 9:40 am

Since I am no longer there, it is nice to get the newsletter as it helps me keep up with what’s going on in the area. Keep up the good work!

61 Ashley October 16, 2009 at 9:43 am

I love PCBDaily beacuse it has views and opinions from real, everyday people. Not ones being paid by a newpaper to make the story “more interesting”, but ones who write about what interest them. It’s not like reading a news blog (boring), it’s more like hearing the inside scoop from my peers. I could search the News Herald for local happenings, I could watch the news at night, but I rather read about the issues that are important to me without all the depressing filler you get with the others. Thanks guys! Keep up the great work!!

62 Maria October 16, 2009 at 9:44 am

I always enjoy getting me weekly newsletters to keep my updated of the events going on in my community. Your reviews are great, articles are very informative, and your staff is the best!

63 Kim October 16, 2009 at 9:48 am

I frequently check out pcbdaily.com to find out the latest happenings! Its a great source and I don’t have to buy a newspaper! I can check it from any computer anywhere!

64 Laura October 16, 2009 at 9:52 am

My husband and I met you at the book store when you were fairly new. You gave us the website and we have been a fan ever since. You provide alot of good info.

65 Dianne Palmer October 16, 2009 at 9:54 am

Hi!
Nice site. Very informative. Like knowing what’s going
on in P.C.B. Thank you,
Dianne Palmer

66 Dana J. Hagaman October 16, 2009 at 9:54 am

WoW. I love PCB daily and pass it along to friends and customers. It’s very formative and keeps us updated on changes around town.

67 Isaac Eiland-Hall October 16, 2009 at 9:57 am

I like PCBDaily.com because it brings me extra information I can’t find in the local media. The extensive information about the airport, for example, and even better in my mind: information about how the street improvement projects are going — along with extensive information about local events. It all makes for a very informative read that fills a gap left by everyone else.

68 Lee Howe October 16, 2009 at 9:57 am

PCBDaily’s Jason fills our need for an investigative reporter on the beach! When you can’t find the answers to what’s going on anywhere else, you can find it in the PCBDaily. Keep on doing what you do, Jason…and thanks!

69 Rob N October 16, 2009 at 10:03 am

I look at the blogs every day. I love to keep up with my second home. I have turned on alot of people here in Atlanta to your site. You guys do a good job.

70 Darel October 16, 2009 at 10:07 am

I spend a lot of time away from PCB and find the daily an excellent way to quickly keep up-to-date on what’s happening!

71 Tony May October 16, 2009 at 10:12 am

We are 1000 miles away in Michigan but PCBDaily allows us to keep track of all that is our beloved second home–PCB and the Emerald Coast. The coverage of the airport development has been first rate. Your sister publications help us stay up to date on the real estate market and identify new restaurants to check out. The fall chill has arrived early in Michigan this year so we can’t wait to return to our Tidewater condo for vacation at the end of the month. Keep up the good work!

72 NancyV October 16, 2009 at 10:14 am

I travel and am away from home so much that I was always missing what was going on in Bay County. Getting the updates eveyday from PCB Daily is just what I need for all my hometown info. Thanks guys.

73 Lauren wilson October 16, 2009 at 10:17 am

so far scott tolbert has the winner response, lol

74 Joe October 16, 2009 at 10:23 am

I like PCBDaily the best of all sources of local and tourist info because it is so relevent. After talking with Jason and Cebo at Liza’s Kitchen, I could tell that they love what they’re so good at. Thanks for all the great work, and keep it up!

75 Debbie Lee October 16, 2009 at 10:27 am

We visit PCB at leasat twice a year and have fallen in love. In fact, we are thinking of relocating in the next couple of years. Great weather, great people and beautiful water…. what more can you ask for.

76 Debbie Lee October 16, 2009 at 10:28 am

… and PCB daily keeps me informed of all the fun stuff and updates me on the important things that are happening in my little piece of paradise.

77 Alissa Nelms October 16, 2009 at 10:38 am

The thing that I enjoy most about the website, is that it allows me to be up to date with what is going on around town. It gives me great feedback on different restaurants and areas that are worth checking out, as well as, super fun things to do cheaply on the weekends!! 🙂 I absolutely LOVE this site and try to come to it daily – thanks for all the information you provide!!

78 Kevin B October 16, 2009 at 10:42 am

PCB daily is the local leader in using a variety of effectively delivering relevant local news information via email, web based and social media outlets!

79 Jennifer Dean October 16, 2009 at 10:47 am

My family and I have been coming to Panama City for years and never tire of it! We try to come at least a couple of times a year. There is always something new and fun going on. We’re loving Pier Park! It is great fun to be able to look on PCBDaily and get your updates, so we can keep updated on what’s going on while we are at home wishing to be in Panama City! Keep up the good work! 🙂

80 Stacy October 16, 2009 at 10:53 am

PCBDaily is more informed than most locals!

81 Rich October 16, 2009 at 10:53 am

Cool Giveaway. I enjoy checking out PCBdaily to see what cool stuff is going around town.

82 Jason Koertge October 16, 2009 at 10:55 am

Wowie! Keep the great comments up. Thanks to everyone for the very nice words, we really appreciate the support.

83 Melinda Drake October 16, 2009 at 11:02 am

I discovered PCBdaily.com about 6 months ago. My family has been to PCB every year for at least 20 years, and more before that. One of the things I like about returning to PCB each year is that many things are familiar. However, I do like the opportunity to experience new shopping malls, new restaurants, and new attractions, as well. PCBdaily gives me the information and updates on both the familiar places and new places. I found the updates on the Pier rebuilding very interesting. Because PCBdaily stays on top of the happenings in PCB, when we went to PCB in July 2008, I was able to direct the family to some of the new places to visit in PCB, as well as being able to explain why some of our favorite places had closed. Thank you for keeping us current and up to date on our “home away from home”.

84 Toshi Oswalt October 16, 2009 at 11:04 am

I really enjoy PCBDaily, due to the fact that I have lived here for 10 years and did not realize how much stuff there really is to do here in PCB or even over on 30-A. Cebo, your work on the 30-A article was great! Jason, you are awesome, and so is your work! Thanks guys for keeping even the locals around here informed! I enjoy this site more than any other news site around…no names!

85 Kelly Spencer October 16, 2009 at 11:04 am

I love Panama City Beach and living 5 hours away I read PCBDaily every day to keep me up to date on my favorite vacation spot. The website has great information on the city and its progress. As a condo owner it is very important that I know what the PCB business climate is. PCBDaily is the best site for entertainment, business, and real estate news for the Panama City Beach market. Thank you Jason-you guys do a great job!

86 Bryan October 16, 2009 at 11:08 am

I have been enjoying PCBDaily for a while now. Jason and Crew have continued to keep the area informed with what is going on with the area’s events, growth and More. It helps me staff my business from info about upcoming events and read about success of events for planning in the future. And another great feature is reading comments people post about topics. 88 Bonnie Stevens October 16, 2009 at 11:14 am

105 Susan Shenefield October 16, 2009 at 12:33 pm

I sit six hours away in Atlanta day-in and day-out dreaming of being at PCB. When the PCBDaily comes, I can enjoy all things PCB vicariously. It’s not the same as being there, but Daily keeps me informed so I know what’s going on with developments, restaurants, entertainment and people. Perhaps the next best thing, until my flip flops hit the sand.

Susan Shenefield

106 Jeff Hardin October 16, 2009 at 1:01 pm

If you want to know what is going on in Panama City Beach then PCBdaily is THE source. With PCBdaily I get the news, information on upcoming events, and the fun stories that other sources won’t carry. Times are changing and so should your sources for information.

110 james October 16, 2009 at 1:51 pm

This site is better than the Panama City Beach Chamber. It is more current, has more information, and covers more topics. I live in Penscola and travel to PCB on weekends. We stay at the Palmetto with Rick and his family and love the family atmosphere and the warm welcome each time. This site lets us know whats going on, where it is, how to get to it, and who to see. Every trip we plan, we check out this site to make our plans. Thanks for the work and effort you guys put into this site. I also recommend this site to business associates and friends traveling in the PCB area.

111 Kathy H October 16, 2009 at 1:55 pm

I have been enjoying PCBDaily since it was first started. It is upbeat and positive. I forward it to all my clients and now they are starting to tell me about it! It has come full circle and that circle is getting bigger!

115 Lynn Garrett October 16, 2009 at 2:03 pm

I love hearing from PCBDaily! I know things sooner than some folks who live there!
Our condo is in PCB but we live in Atlanta…..it’s sooo nice to be able to stay “in the know” about real estate happenings as well as local growth and progress updates in Panama City Beach! Jason, you have a true knack for writing and I have often wondered if you were ever a reporter in a past life!?!? I love being informed by you & PCBDaily!

116 Jason Koertge October 16, 2009 at 2:09 pm

it’s so funny, I get similar responses and comments all the time. I actually have no professional experience in writing, reporting or jounalism, but I do enjoy communication. I have a degree in criminology, I have my real estate license, and I end up playing with video more than anything. wierd spread, I know.

117 tommy g October 16, 2009 at 2:06 pm

hey Jason, see u been very busy, sorry we didn’t get to hook up at the fall bike rally, I’ll call when i get back in town. and BTW i read PCB daily ,its the best source of news on the beach and in town.as soon as i move down there, {in so GA right now } PCB daily will be my on line source for advertising. keep up the good work.

118 Mia Pankey October 16, 2009 at 2:07 pm

WHO DOESN’T LOVE PCBDAILY!!!!????
Everyone I know does…It is my local HUB for information and happenings in the PC area…In fact, I get more useful information here for my business, than through any other media source in town! I pass it along to all of my out of town customers as a courtesy, and it is the one potential piece of “spam” that you definitely want to add to your approved sender list!
YOU ROCK and thank you!!

119 Anna B October 16, 2009 at 2:09 pm

I love checking up on what’s going on around town! Seeing photos from local events and write ups of past events reminds me of what a great town we live in!

PCBdaily.com keeps me in the loop of all the new, fun, interesting, crazy, and odd events happening in and around Panama City Beach! This website is perfect for me because it makes me feel like a part of the community. It’s a community website for all ages, which is very uncommon in this day and age. Great job and keep up the good work!

127 Chris Charles October 16, 2009 at 2:36 pm

Panama City Beach is all about the beautiful beaches and the super nice people that live, work and visit here.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE PCBDaily! Why? Jason and Cebo do a superb job of giving back to the community so much time & effort in informing so many – Locals, tourist, & property owners! This is so unlike online newspapers, etc., and this is a good thing! It keeps everyone on top of things that the normal media doesn’t care to cover – but WE CARE TO READ!

PCBDaily gives us great stories, pictures, & videos, just to name a few – oh and GREAT CONTEST! Thanks so much for all your hard work!

I am so proud to be a realtor in this beautiful place and I am like a peacock struttin around when I am showing Pier Park and talking about our new airport. Also,
what about the beauty of the sand and water? Wow, I think I’ll take off and go swimming right now!!! PCB daily helps me a lot because it also boasts of our town.
You have created a colorful, informative, and fun online magazine and I always look forward to the next issue.

I like hearing about events that gets little or no mention is other media. I especially like the real estate items and the beach show. It makes me appreciate how blessed we were to sell our home back in March/April. PCBdaily also reminds me of how much we miss the beach and can’t wait to get back every chance we get.

141 Tricia Morrison October 16, 2009 at 4:22 pm

PCBDaily keeps us informed of what is happening on the beach. News we never read in the Newspaper. Thank you very much.

142 Linda October 16, 2009 at 4:34 pm

I live in Rolling Meadows, IL and this is the only site you can get up to date information on what is going on around PCB. Forget the online newspaper (don’t repeat that I said that since I work for the local newspaper) and forget about the online websites for the local tv stations. I loved it when you investigated what was going on with the tear downs near the Sunbird since I own one. I try to let me renters know what is going on in the area and the only way to do that is to check pcbdaily.com.
Great site and I and I know others would be lost without it. Keep up the GREAT WORK.

143 Terry October 16, 2009 at 4:38 pm

I love watching my wife sit by the computer all day trying to win something….like those Seafood Festival tickets she’s STILL WAITING FOR! Did you really give those away? She didn’t get an email so I didn’t take her and we didn’t stop by your booth.

Seriously – the things I’ve learned from the newsletter is places I had no idea about even though we live here. What’s the best place to eat or what are the favorite places to visit. Things we pass onto our out of town visitors.

Oh yeah – I want to win the GOLF TICKETS!

144 Tracy October 16, 2009 at 4:41 pm

I not only read pcdaily.com…but I share it with family and friends that love to come visit. It helps them remember the fun times at the beach and keeps them coming. Also, it helps me show off our area and all the events that will encourage repeat business. So far it is working! Thanks for all you do and for keeping my rental property full!

145 Kerry October 16, 2009 at 4:52 pm

181 Dick Mink October 18, 2009 at 6:37 am

We are home owners in Bid-A-Wee, so getting relavent and current information about the beach from Jason and Cebo is important.

Knowing Jason and his staff are digging everyday to put useful info in the PCBD is a good thing since we spend several months each year in Kentucky.

We would pay for the susbscription but are really enjoy the fact that advertisers cover production costs!

182 Al October 18, 2009 at 8:35 am

PCB Daily is a great source of info on local events.

183 Gail October 18, 2009 at 11:13 am

187 Pam G October 18, 2009 at 4:57 pm

My husband and I live in Pensacola, FL but we love to come to PCB for weekend get-aways. We love that area over there more than we do here and we plan to retire over there one day. Since we don’t live over there, I love to go on pcbdaily to keep up on everything that is going on over there. With all of the new progress going on, this is the best way for us to keep up. We appreciate the updates and I think everything that the area has to offer is awesome. Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

188 Melissa Manley October 18, 2009 at 5:41 pm

I really enjoy PCB Daily. It is the only news I read and I like that its focus is on the beach side of town. I also greatly appreciate the site’s interest in its followers. What I like most about pcbdaily is the simple fact that it’s just real, unfiltered, local stuff without the fluff…no rhyme intended there. Thanks for all you guys do!
Dave

We are planning to rent a condo in PCB for the months of Nov. & Dec. I am so excited about staying on the beautiful gulf shores and enjoying that view every day! I am keeping a file of PCB Daily articles to help us find the best restaurants and events to go to during our stay. Your on-line newspaper is wonderful for absolutely everything one wants to know about the area. I will have my laptop with me during our stay so we can keep reading the PCB Daily. Thank you!

195 CCSimmons October 19, 2009 at 8:14 am

I grew up coming to Panama City Beach as a teenager and believe me that was SEVERAL years ago when “The Sands” motel was about all you knew. Sure there were other places but since that is what we knew, that is where we stayed. PCB has come a long way! Now I am working in the area and proud to be a part of the transformation you are going through! Thanks PCB Daily! Love keeping up with the latest happenings!

PCBD is timely, easy to use and I’m grateful for the information in the newsletter. You guys are doing a great job and are providing a valuable service to those of us who long to be there.

203 Jim Mitchell October 20, 2009 at 7:14 am

My wife and I have been reading your articles since your beginning, I guess. We like to share your information with our rental guests, in case there is something special going on that they might enjoy during their trip.

Your articles today are a good example. The construction projects will probably slow traffic in the respective areas and we can re-direct them if they are interested.

Please keep up the good work.

204 Kate October 20, 2009 at 8:12 am

I enjoy PCBDaily because of all the great local information that is available. You are the best source for all Panama City Beach information.

213 David Moreau October 20, 2009 at 1:17 pm

PCBDaily is my life line to Panama City Beach. During my hectic life it is difficult for me to stay on top of all of the wonderful happenings that are taking place in Panama City Beach. Being able to have one location to find out all of the important events and things going on makes my life easier. I love how PCBDaily lists all of the events happening over the weekend in the area and post it every Wednesday which allows my family time to plan a fun filled weekend. During this real estate slump I have also received great information on how our area is doing and what’s moving in the market. I can not go into all of the articles that I have read that have really helped me understand the complicated problems we are having to deal with trying to get our area to grow and prosper but most were very informative and accurate. Keep up the great work Jason and the crew at PCBDaily your are appreciated and needed. PCBDaily Panama City Beaches best source of information.

214 Mandy October 20, 2009 at 2:58 pm

I recently moved to the area and read PCB daily often to keep updated on events in the area. My family is all still in Nashville so I send them the website link to look over events they may wish to attend when they visit. Love it!

215 Pam October 20, 2009 at 3:34 pm

My husband and I have been coming down to the Panama City area for 25 years or so starting when my family moved to this area from Michigan. We finally moved down and have lived in Florida for over a year, in the Clearwater area, and still love to go over to Panama City Beach when we can. We had been renting a cottage for the winter on the west end at Laguna Beach, a great area, especially since Pier Park opened! I signed up for PCB Daily awhile back to stay in touch and know the latest happenings when we were up north, and found it very easy to get around the site. It is so informative- lets us know about the new restaurants- places to go- changes at the airport- public opinions on the area sites- problems in the area and, of course, the housing market and homes that are available. Even though we are not considering moving there at this time, I love watching Jason’s homes for sale video’s~~~and we will still be coming back to the Panama City Beach area at least a couple times a year, so I still love receiving PCB Daily!

216 Sandy October 20, 2009 at 3:35 pm

222 Roger October 21, 2009 at 8:55 am

I used to live down in PCB in the late 90s and still make it down once or twice a year. I enjoy reading the updates on PCBdaily about the changes down there, especially the airport. I sure hope the new airport helps bring down the cost of a plane ticket into PCB!!!

PCBdaily keeps me up to date on all the happenings in Panama City Beach related to real estate, the airport, new retail openings, restaurants, events, etc. It’s the single web site I would choose for condo owner/ visitor related information. Keep up the good work!

226 Gwen October 22, 2009 at 11:11 pm

We are from out-of-state and own a condo on the beach that we rent to guests. I just found out about PCBdaily before our recent trip which was great because we found out about the Seafood, Wine and Music Festival and were able to spend a day there. Sorry we missed the PCBdaily booth.

I love PCBdaily becuase it is great to keep up with what is going on in the area so I can tell our guests and learn more about PCB. I am excited that Southwest will have flights in May. Now we can come down and enjoy the beach more often!

I have been coming to Panama City since I was a little girl. One of my favorite places to visit was Miracle Strip Amusement Park. It is sad to see it gone, but I know new things are in the works. Last year I moved here and I love getting the e-mails and visiting PCBdaily becasue I know ahead of time for any events and news going on at the beach. Keep up the great work Jason!

239 Ed Farris October 23, 2009 at 11:37 am

Jason you and your staff have done just a great job with PCBdaily.com! This website along with the weekly email blasts and updates has, without exception, been the one most important, most thorough and up to the minute link to PCB that anyone, outside of the area, could possibly hope for. Honestly, I appreciate it and look forward to the news at least weekly.

I live in NE Ohio and everyone that I know personally, who has a place on the beach or just visits our little piece of paradise, sees your updates as well. I’ve been a part of PCB for 16 years and along with many others, we appreciate what you have done with PCBDaily and how it’s helped to promote the area. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Thanks,

246 DeCarlos October 23, 2009 at 11:49 am

I enjoy receiving PCBDaily because it provides unbiased reporting about the area my family and I have chosen to reside in. I particularly like hearing about all of the wonderful places to dine and things that a family can enjoy together, as opposed to only being told where I could go get plastered or “get my freak on” as the spring breakers like to say. Keep up the outstanding work.

DeCarlos

I enjoy reading the PCBdaily to stay up on all the new and exciting changes going on. 250 Ashley October 23, 2009 at 11:59 am

I like PCBDaily.com because you’re one of the few news people that ‘get’ the new generation of news consumers and will survive when most news outlets are loosing readership. You deliver the news in an engaging and conversational way that is an easy and interesting read. Plus you are from the area and obviously really care about furthering and advancing PCB’s name out there in the market. Good job! Great idea!

251 Richard Gheesling October 23, 2009 at 11:59 am

PCBDaily has the news snipits that I have time for. None of those long drawn out stories. Keep it up and thanks.

Jason,

I am originally from the south GA area, have been “camping out” in the Chicago area for 26+ years. We vacation spring break every year in South Walton/Panama City Beach. Your PCB daily keeps me up with the goings on and helps keep me warm in the Winter. I am known as the “shorts guy” in my neighborhood since I wear them inside during winter. We are looking to be on the Emerald Coast during winter starting in 3 years – retirement. Keep up the good work.

Bob

His information is always correct and the video and pictures help tell the story of the emerging new market with the opening of the International Airport in May 2010…some said it would never happen…Jason was always first with the photos with proof positive that that Airport’s Coming!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Jason for all the tips and for making us all look informed…I forward the emails to my clients all over the USA!

269 Phil Work October 23, 2009 at 1:05 pm

I am not a local, my work has me in Memphis, TN for now, but I own two rental/vacation properties on the west end of PCB. PCB Daily is the best source I have to keep track of what is going on with the airport, TDC, and local happenings. I was travelling Wednesday (in a car in the middle of Nowhere, South Texas), my wife was in PCB, but I knew before she did that about the Southwest announcement because of PCB Daily. It’s an invaluable resource for me to keep aware of local events and as we all look forward to the great things that will start happening when the airport opens.

270 Susan Gineris October 23, 2009 at 1:06 pm

272 Don Caplinger October 23, 2009 at 1:14 pm

I enjoy PCBdaily because I live up in NW Arkansas and watch to see what the weather is like in PCB and what is happening so that I can pick up and get away to PCB to play some golf when the weather is cold, windy, and gray up here. I also watch the properties so that I know what is available should I decide to make that “second” big decision.

We like receiving pcb.daily because we live in Canada and we stay in Panama City Beach 5 weeks of the year during the winter season. By receiving the pcb.daily it keeps us informed on what is going on and what events are coming up. It gives us a true knowledge of the area when we are speaking with the people who live their year round. A good example is the new airport and road construction when we will be there. We noticed that this contest is for Americans only but we had wanted to make a comment anyways.

280 Kerrie Thompson October 23, 2009 at 1:51 pm

I love PCB Daily because it comes right to my inbox and I can read a short recap of stories or I can read the whole story. The stories in PCB Daily are written about local topics and they are informative. I like to stay informed about the area I call home and I can do that with PCB Daily.

I enjoy reading PCB daily because I can keep up with whats going on in the PCB area from my home in Atlanta. This lets me know exactly what I want to do when I arrive on the weekends when I am ready to play. Keep up the good work PCB daily
