this looks awesome, do you have any clue what is going to be going in on the property between pier park and the calypso (not yet built) tower next to the parking garage.
i heard st. joe owns this land, but dont really know.
that looks like a perfect spot for a high end hotel with its proximity to the park. thanks for keeping everyone up to date on the goings on in town.

The property between Calypso parking garage and what is now Ron Jon Surf Shop (east of Pier Park Dr.) is land owned by St. Joe, as far as what will be developed there it’s anybodys guess at this point in time. A full service hotel on that parcel would be problematic due to zoning ordinances and connectivity to Pier Park.

The Fresh Market will be the last tenant to open up in the North of Hilton buildings and more than likely not open till late summer.

No more hotels – we have enough non populated building around, heck at this rate half the stores at P.P. are going to be going out of business within one year of opening up anyway.

Thanks for the fresh market info….. Opening late summer is better than opening next year……or later.

We winter visitors from Ontario to P.C.B. for 16 yrs ,we love the way this community has progressed .The Pier Park project is wonderful event and I believe well deserved for the people who live here, and the tourist as well. Hopefully the roads along scenic 98 will be repaired plus sidewalks.i’am sure people would enjoy walking and gazing at this beautiful scenery
