If you’re looking for a cool, healthy treat in this hot summer sun, you’ve got to check out the new new frozen Yogurt shop in Pier Park.  YoGurty’s Yummy Yogurt, located right next to Red Brick Pizza in Pier Park is one of the newest food shops in the 1.1 million square foot shopping facility that has played a huge part in changing the face of Panama City Beach over the last two years.

10 Amazing Flavors

Serving 10 mouthwatering flavors that are followed by an expansive toppings station with over 30 toppings, everything I’ve tried there has been delicious.    Toppings include fresh fruits, fresh candy (chopped on site), and nuts.

Currently their flavors include Red Velvet Cake, Hershey’s Chocolate, Irish Mint, Cheesecake, Outrageous Orange, Fancy French Vanilla, Pralines and Creme, Peanut Butter, Mango Tart and Original Tart, but they all will rotate among some of the other flavors that YoCream has available, like Cookies and Cream or Pmegranate Rasberry Tart.

They built a 2nd floor for a freezer.

One of the things that makes this place so unique is the way in which it is served and paid for.  When you walk in, you’re greeted by a fun atmosphere, bright colors and smiling faces.  The whole process starts at the frozen yogurt machines, serving fresh YoCream frozen yogurt in flavor pairs of two, offering swirl options, along with single flavor options.

I had some first hand experience in watching this tasty treat factory come to life in that I was doing some direct work with Pier Park while they were under construction.  The build out of the inside was a tedious and expensive process because they had to build in a second floor to hold an oversized freezer.  The truck that delivers the fresh YoCream product could only come deliver every several weeks, so the owners had to ensure they had enough to last.  Enough storage was key.

Once you get your Yogurt and toppings in place, the price is determined by weight, which is calculated at 44 cents per ounce.

I’ve been there a number of times.  Frankly, I’ve not been able to get past the Red Velvet Cake.  It’s so delicious, I haven’t tried anything else.
